An upcoming, week-long celebration for the ship between Albedo and his fellow alchemical creations (Subject 2 and Fellflower), otherwise known as "BedoBedo".This ship week is not intended to focus on the platonic side of the ship and may stray into Dead Dove territory. This is your warning to block and mute this event's accounts on social media and the related tags if that makes you uncomfortable.

Calcium Carbonate [CaCO3] is a week-long event organized by fans and for fans of BedoBedo.This ship includes Albedo and his fellow alchemical creations, such as Subject 2 and the Fellflower. If the character was created by Rhinedottir and looks like Albedo, they qualify for this ship. Any combination of Albedo and Albedo-like characters are welcome.This week is meant to focus on the non-platonic relationship between Albedo, Subject 2, and the Fellflower, as there has already been an event dedicated to the platonic/familial interpretation of this ship. However, participants are welcome to interpret the ship however they like. We only ask that participants respect other participants' views during the event to keep everything peaceful and fun. This week was not organized to cause discourse or tension between fans. It is only meant to give fans who enjoy the non-platonic interpretation of the ship a place to share their work and connect.Please be warned that the in-game relationship between Albedo, Subject 2, and the Fellflower can and will likely inspire content by participants that would fall under the Dead Dove category. Reminder that Albedo is the first playable Genshin Impact character to actively stab another character on-screen. Therefore, violence, gore and angst is possible and will be allowed during this event as long as it is properly tagged. Because of this, we ask that everyone who submits such content for the event be at least 18+.The event is currently set to be held on Tumblr and AO3 only. This is due to the current instability of Twitter as a platform. Since we can't ensure the site will still be functional for the duration of the event, we are choosing not to run an official account for it there. Participants are more than welcome to use the event tags on Twitter and share their event specific works there, but they will not be shared on Twitter by an official event account.Please see the rules page for more info on what is and isn't allowed during the event.

  • When posting to Twitter, AO3, or Tumblr, use the event tags “#CaCO3Week2025” and “BedoBedoWeek2025” so we can find and share your posts.

  • Participants must be 18+.

  • Be kind. Harassment of any kind is not allowed during this event.

  • NSFW content (this includes violence, gore, and sexual content), must be posted with an SFW preview in the post that uses the event tags. See options below.

For NSFW submissions, participants have the option to either:

  • Include a link to full version beneath an SFW preview in the original post.

  • Hide the full version on Twitter in a comment below the SFW preview post with a “Sensitive Content Warning” turned on.

  • Hide the full version under a “Keep Reading” below the SFW preview on Tumblr in the same post, with clear trigger and content warnings above it.

Other Ships

Participants are allowed to mention, imply, or allude to other ships in their works. However, BedoBedo must remain the main focus of the work and any additional ships must be tagged accordingly so that others are able to mute the ship if they so choose.Posts that include other ships but are not tagged accordingly will not be shared on the event’s Tumblr account.

Disclaimer

We want to repeat once again that this event was not organized out of malice or in bad faith towards the SFW BedoBedo week hosted on Twitter. This event has no connection to the organizers of the SFW event. CaCO3 Week is just meant to give fans who enjoy the NSFW interpretation of the ship a space to connect and interact with each other.We also want to remind all participants to double check Tumblr’s guidelines regarding NSFW content before posting. While their restrictions have loosened a bit with the introduction of Community Labels, not everything is allowed. Explicit sexual content is still likely to get a strike against your account, so please be mindful and careful of what you post and how. Posting a link to the full NSFW version with an SFW preview seems to be fine and shouldn’t cause a strike against your account. Regardless, it should be marked with a Mature Content label to avoid any issues.It will be assumed that all characters depicted are 18 years of age or older. In game lore suggests Albedo to be 100+ years of age and Subject 2/Primordial Albedo/Dorian is mentioned to be the prototype creation that came before Albedo, therefore making Subject 2 older than Albedo.
